1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
My pastor started our Thanksgiving morning off with this verse and I find it appropriate to end this day with the same verse. Our circumstances may not always lead us to a desire to rejoice, our circumstances may not lead us to a feeling to press in with prayer and our circumstances may not lead us to feeling of giving thanks but that is why Jesus came. In the middle of the journey, in the middle of our mess we are to press in with a focused heart and a mind of thanks. It is scientifically proven that with daily thanks
( verbally and written), we can rewrite the negative neuro path-ways in our brain and start to live the blessed life God always indented.
Tonight, as this 2018 Thanksgiving comes to a close we need to remember that because of Jesus and His goodness, when we align ourselves with Him we can rejoice, pray and give thanks regardless of our circumstances. We know Jesus is bigger than our circumstances and He has so much more for us !
Will you choose tonight to be thankful through your circumstances and watch God bring abundance to your life ! Be blessed this Thanksgiving night, I know I am blessed that through my storm, my God is still on the throne, and my God still has my family in his hands with a beautiful story to still write !!!! He has a beautiful story for your life as well.
