" So, in the course of TIME Hannah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, saying, Because I ASKED the Lord for him."
Hannah is not as well-known as Ruth, Queen Esther or even Mary the mother of Jesus, but Hannah was a woman seeking all God had for her. She understood great sorrow due to life circumstances, but Hannah didn't let that remove her focus from the true and only source, God. She pressed into God, His promises and His presence until it was her time. She remained steadfast in her seeking despite her weeping. What an inspiring woman of the bible, a woman who never gave up on seeking God, believing God and remembering that in God's timing, He answers our asking.
